A Competition for Driven Creatives
Photography, Music and Filmmaking
Have your creative drive rewarded with a high- performance G-Tech storage system or even a massive €5,000 towards your next project.
Unlike other creative competitions, you will be rewarded not just for the aesthetic qualities of your entry but also for the invention and drive which went into creating it.
Submissions are encouraged across the fields of photography, music and filmmaking in both Professional and Amateur categories.
Prizes plus Exhibitions in London, Paris and Berlin!
Besides great prizes, including G-Technology G Raid drives and G Mobile drives for winners and runners-up in each category, the overall winner will receive a G Speed drive and a grant of 5,000 Euros to fund their next creative project.
Besides great prizes, the best entries will go on display at exclusive exhibitions in London, Paris and Berlin in October 2011.
Entries
The G-Technology Driven Creativity Competition 2011 is only open to residents of United Kingdom, France, Germany, Ireland, Finland, Portugal, Netherlands, Sweden and Russia who are 18 years of age and older. Entry is free and you can enter only ONE submission in photography, film or music. Only work created in 2010 or 2011 is eligible. Entries close 31st August 2011, with the category winners announced on this website.
A shortlist of entries will be taken from the top rated creative with the final winners and runners-up entries in each category decided by a panel of creative industry experts.

Complies with the Bill of Rights
This competition meets all the standards set out in
the Bill of Rights For Artists
Competitions which comply with the conditions set out in the Bill of Rights For Artists do not -
- claim copyright
- seek waiving of moral rights
- fail to give a credit for all free usage
- add, alter, or remove metadata from digital images
- seek usage rights other than for solely and exclusively promoting the contest. Note that a book, posters, cards, or a calendar are seen as legitimate ways of promoting the contest and defraying costs
- seek free usage rights in excess of 3 years
- use the images commercially without the photographers agreement, and such commercial usage is to be rights managed and limited to 3 years.
- make it a condition of winning that an entrant must sign a commercial usage agreement
- fail to publish all documents on the competition website that an entrant may have to sign
- fail to name the judges for this or last year's competition
- fail to explicitly state all the organisations who will acquire rights to the images
- set a closing date more than 18 months after the contest launch date
- fail to make clear statements of rights claimed and how images are used
