Longtime Artists' Bill of Rights supporter, Scottish Nature Photography Awards, celebrates nature, wildlife and landscape photography in Scotland.
The Scottish Nature Photography Awards Photographic Competition 2016 is open to professional and amateur photographers from around the world, but images must be taken in Scotland.
Entries close 24:00 hours GMT on Wednesday 30th November 2016.
This is the 7th annual competition to seek the Scottish Nature Photographer of the Year. The categories are:
Scottish Nature Photographer of the Year 2016
Junior Scottish Nature Photographer of the Year 2016 (open to under-18s). Up to 5 images on any Scottish nature subject.
Student Scottish Nature Photographer of the Year 2016 (for full or part-time students over-18 undertaking a photography element in their course). Portfolio of 3 images on the theme of "Water".

Andy Hall – Photographer
Niall Irvine – Photographer & Digital Imaging Practitioner and Co-organiser of the Awards
Richard Shucksmith – Photographer & Ecologist
Winning images will be featured in a Touring Exhibition in 2017. Winning and shortlisted images will be featured in the Portfolio Yearbook 2016.
