Street Reverb Magazine is teaming up with Sony Ericsson's Xperia Studio to bring to you "Reality Remade", a free to enter Street photography contest with a prize pot of over £4000!
Photographers from anywhere in the world are invited to submit project proposals interpreting the theme "Reality Remade" along with a portfolio of images supporting their entry.
We're looking for proposals on how you'd push the boundaries of street photography and produce photos that truly reveal moments of magic amongst the mundane hustle and bustle of everyday life. Photographs that show Reality Remade.
Deadline for entries is 2nd November 2011.
To submit your application you'll need to prepare a project proposal (no more than 300 words) interpreting the theme "Reality Remade", as well as short biography (no more than 200 words), this should be accompanied by a portfolio of your work containing between 6 and 12 images (new and or old, and can be taken with any type of camera) supporting your proposal.
From the submissions received, our panel of judges, headed up by professional photographer Peter Dench and the Street Reverb team will select the five best proposals to move on to the final round of the competition.
Here each of the successful applicants will be given an expense budget of £300 and a Sony Ericsson Xperia ray with its 8MP camera, to help complete their project consisting of 5 new images on the theme, created with the Xperia device.

Finalists announced: 7th November 2011
Final Winners announced: 16th December
There will be an overall winner, a community winner, and five finalists.
Our overall winner will receive £2200.
The selected finalists will each receive a Sony Xperia ray Handset along with £300 to complete their proposed project.
And a community voted winner will also be award a further £500.
The deadline for applications is Thursday, 2nd November 2011.
